# 5.1.3 Profit Distribution Smart Contract

Virtual Bot owners will be entitled to a portion of the profit generated by their Virtual Bots. The profit distribution smart contract will keep track of Virtual Bot ownership and will distribute profits on a quarterly basis. When a user acquires a Virtual Bot device from the NFT marketplace, the profit distribution will register the wallet address of the owner. From that moment onward, owners will receive a share of the profit generated by their Virtual Bots. In the future, in case of a change of ownership, the wallet address of the new owner will be registered, ensuring that the profit is always sent to the right place. It's important to note that the profit distribution mechanism is not yet implemented.
