# 4.2.1 MSOT ERC-20 토큰

MSOT 토큰은 ERC-20 표준 기반이다. MSOT는 SoM이나 SOT NFT 토큰을 거래하거나, 조사·리서치를 진행하기 위해 SoT 기기를 임대하고, SoT 소유자에게 수익을 분배하는 데 사용된다. MSOT 토큰 공급은 하드캡 방식으로 이루어지는데, 이는 스마트 컨트랙트 구축 과정에서 최초 발행 이후 추가적인 토큰 발행이 없는 방식을 의미한다.
